The service
Operator, a product of High5 Labs LLC, provides an automated phone and text assistant that answers calls and messages for participating barbershops and salons and manages appointments on their behalf. The assistant identifies itself as automated. It is a tool the shop uses; your appointment is with the shop, and the shop's own policies (pricing, cancellation windows, fees) govern it.
Bookings
An appointment exists once the assistant has read the details back, you have agreed, and the assistant has confirmed it. The assistant checks availability at the moment of booking; if a time is taken, it offers alternatives rather than double-booking. Cancellation and no-show policies belong to the shop, and the assistant states them when they apply.
Acceptable use
Do not use the assistant to harass, to make fraudulent bookings, or to attempt to extract information about other customers. The assistant can only see and change appointments associated with the phone number it is talking to.
Service quality
We work to keep the assistant accurate and available, and when it cannot help it hands you to a person or takes a message. The service is provided as is, and High5 Labs LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use, to the extent permitted by law.
